Has anyone done or is thiking of doing your flowers yourselves?  My mom is insisting that we do my own.  Thoughts?   Experiences?

    I was thinking of doing my own with my Mom's help when all the floral estimates I got were through the roof.  But Christina O'Malley gave me such a great quote on what I wanted, it turned out to be less expensive than if I bought the flowers I had in mind on my own.

    Unless you already have some floral experience, or plan to get some in time, this could be an unnecessary added stressor on your wedding day since it's not really something you can do way in advance.  Will your schedule allow for such a project on the day of or day before?

    I'm a little apprehensive, but it's something my mom is really pushing.  I'm planning to practice a few times well in advance, and I think it's something ew could do the day befoer the wedding during the day.  We'll see!

    I've heard great things about ordering flowers from Sam's and they are super inexpensive.  I never thought about it until I read on here about someone else doing it, so that's what I plan on doing.  I don't have the budget myself, so my friends are taking the task of doing my flowers.  Best wishes!
