Checked out resturant in Manteo

I had looked up reviews for resturants and someone had a great review about a rehersal dinner.So my FI and I went to check out Oretgaz in Manteo and it was terrible! The lunch menu may be ok but dinner was horrible. The food had no taste and the prices were ridiculous! I do not advise anyone going there. The service was very slow for them to not be to busy. Alot of people were sitting outside so we figured it would be packed inside. Well one whole side had nobody sitting there. Well we got seated there and it was FREEZING inside. It took along time for someone to come get our drink order and we were already ready to put in our food order. The drinks were gone by the time the food came and it wasn't even hot! There wasn't alot of food on the plate for the price. I'm very displeased

Hmmm.. good to know. I was thinking about catering with them....maybe back to my original thought about the red skye catering.

Teach...check out Good Life Catering! We were in OBX last week and had one meeting with Steve, the owner, and absolutely loved him! We spent almost two hours with him. Then we went back a few days later for a tasting! Delicious food! Steve is very thorough and gives suggestions for the entire wedding process! We signed a contract with Good Life! FYI...I am the mother of the bride. My daughter is getting married June 2012.
