Is there such a thing as an inappropriate place for a reception? Such Ryan's buffet or Golden Coral buffet?

    Ditto sister.  All that is required is that you feed your guests at YOUR expense.  FI was a groomsman for a wedding last year where the RD was at the local version of a Ryan's.  They rented out a room there and paid everyone's way, and we just went out to the buffet to get our food.  It was fine.
