Love their stuff but they seem to be (let me use a phrase I love and rarely get to use) getting a little too big for their britches.

Well, they are the go-to for fat celebs. It would inflate my head, too, until I took a minute to realize that there's only 3 stores for fat chicks, anyway. Being the best of the lackluster offerings isn't really something to crow about.

I just looked over there quickly. Some of those dresses are something else.

And do they always use the same model for every item?

They only have a couple of models, LS. Though I appreciate that they're bigger than most "plus" models - certainly bigger than any on Lane Bryant or Avenue.

I do have one dress from them, a little wrap I got on sale, and it's wonderfully made. They are good clothes, but I don't know that they're worth full price - especially because I think they need petites.

The wrap dresses and more simple designs look nice. But things like this? No.

    *shrug*

I think the cut is nice and flattering on her, but I'm not a fan of the design on the skirt. If it was solid black satin, then I think it would be something special.

Granted, every dress that I've ever worn to a wedding has been a solid black something or other, so I'm pretty basic and boring when it comes to evening attire.

LS, we're tired of basic black. Seriously, I will try on anything with a pattern, because Hallelujah, someone realized I don't just want to be "slimmed" into boring non-existence.

That one's not to my specific taste, but when you don't have a lot of choices, and someone gives you color? You'd leap at it, too.

    I understand what you're saying.

Having the option for color/patterns is always appreciated.

I've just always been a solid black and other basic colors girl. I'll always pick black, gray, white/ivory over colors because I worry about looking like a tall blond clown in a crazy patterned top or dress.
