Caterers?

I'm having a small (50) person wedding.  I'd love to find an affordable caterer/byob if possible.  Any suggestions?

I'm using Good Will Fire Company in Old New Castle. The food is great, and you really can't beat the price. 3 meats, 3 sides, toss salad, dinner rolls, iced tea and coffee, for only $10 a head!!!!!! They don't have a hall, but right across the street is the New Castle Senior Center, and their rates are resonable as well. And they are byob.

I am not sure about a venue that lets you bring in your own, but as for caterers, Appleton Catering is DELISH.  I have had their food several times at other events, and it's so good.  They are usually at the bridal shows, with free samples.  Good luck finding a place!

I 2nd Appleton Catering. They catered mine and my sisters graduation party in summer 2006.  The food is FAB!  Glenn, the owner is so nice and will sit down with you to go over everything.  You can even try their food by going to their store (off of Newport Gap Pike behind Prices Corner) or at their stand in the Boothwyn Farmers Market on Fridays and Saturdays.

At a friend's wedding they used Starlite or Starlight (not sure of the spelling) caterers and the food was delicious! I don't think they are too pricey.

I have used Golden Apple Caterers for my oldest daughter's wedding and my son's wedding. My third child has just got engaged and I plan on using them again. They have many different locations with very affordable pricing (they include everything - linens, china, silverware, they also threw in a wedding cake!!). I believe at their locations they even give you the room for free! I used one of their locations for my oldest and at my son's wedding they came to the church hall. If anyone would like to email me regarding them, please feel free! Theresa (the owner's wife) is great! Very patient and understanding! She even emails me late at night or returns my phonecalls after 7:00PM. Their food is very good and they can decorate, which is a big plus in my book! My email address is dancin357@aol.com! Need help with suggestions on a great guest favor!

Thought this would help, looking for a great DJ. The ones I used in the past are now retired!
