1. When dinner needs to be quick and easy what do you make?
Nothing, we call take out

Usually this great Thai place down the street!

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Putting their grocery carts away! I spent 15 minutes on Monday putting away carts so I could pull into a parking spot haha. Oh help!

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
5th Grade Graduation I got an award for helping to sell milk every day. I never once sold milk

Stephanie Seymour aka the Playboy and Sports Illustrated model of the 80's haha.Thanks Dad...

5. Plans for the weekend?
Tons! Going dancing with my moh and maids tonight, getting my hair colored tomorrow, working on our card box and modge podging some picture frames on Sunday! Woohoo!

1. When dinner needs to be quick and easy what do you make?
Usually tomato soup and grilled cheese. Or pasta.

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Just to say "please" and "thank you." A little courtesy goes a long way people.

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
I'm not really sure. I certainly didn't deserve a pay cut - but the damn economy made it so.

4. Are you named after anyone?
Not really. My parents gave me my middle name after a restaurant, JC Hillary's, where they went on their first date.

5. Plans for the weekend?
Going to a funeral for my great uncle tomorrow morning. It's going to be really tough since he looked EXACTLY like my grandfather. I felt like I was finally coming to terms with his death, even though it was about 8 years ago. I wasn't able to be at the wake/funeral so I have a lot of unresolved issues around that. Now I feel like I'm going through all of it again. That was really long...but needed to "say" it out loud.

Turkey tacos.. yummy and so damn easy.

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Most people are fairly good about merging into traffic after you've been waiting for a long time... most though, not all.

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
I won this random award in high school, it was a cash gift of 5k and I still have no idea why I won it, lol. But I happily took the money and used it towards books once college started.

4. Are you named after anyone?
Yep... in Judaism you name after the dead to honor the person.

My english name, Ilyse, is after my grandmother Irene who died before I was born and my hebrew Elisheva is after my great grandfather, who's hebrew name was Efraim.

5. Plans for the weekend?
This has been a wedding planning packed week so far- bm dress- and will continue into the weekend. My sister is coming with her family to look at dresses and help with some planning.

Cheesy Chicken...a Campbells recipe that takes only a few minutes but is sooo delicious!

Tough one to think of on the spot. I would have to say being polite and saying thank you

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
My parents helping us with a down deposit for our home. It was part of our wedding gift and it was so undeserved but meant the most to us. My parents had me investing in Roth IRA (I believe that's what it is) before I even knew what it was for. Was able to use a chunk of that for our down deposit. Then my parents surprised us with a gift to also help. We wouldn't have been in a home half as nice without it

4. Are you named after anyone?
Middle name, Allison after my aunt/godmother who's middle name is Allison as well.

5. Plans for the weekend?
Lots of lounging and really trying to clean up our office (I mean it this time, I will clean...well..hopefully)

Usually Pasta or tacos

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Stopping for pedestrians in a crosswalk (which I think depends on the state) was the first that came to mind.

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
hmm - I would say all of the help received by my future in-laws. It's a long story but they have done more than enough for us.

4. Are you named after anyone?
Unfortunately, yes. Brittany from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I kid you not. My name is just spelled another way.

5. Plans for the weekend?
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Spend time with the boys
Monday: Spend time with Owen and take him to a dr's appt.

1. When dinner needs to be quick and easy what do you make?
Most of our dinners are quick and easy because I get out of work so late ha, one of our favs is Trader Joes sweet and sour chicken and you take out of the freezer and throw into a pan, delish!

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Yielding when they have a yield sign - drives me crazy

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
In high school I won an award for a child development class I was in. I helped out with snack time because I was hungry too haha. When they called my name at the awards ceremony I wasn't expecting it at all so I didnt even have my shoes on!

4. Are you named after anyone?
Yes, my mom's mom, who died when my mom was 19 of breast cancer.

5. Plans for the weekend?

Going down to PA to surprise one of my best friends (and bridesmaids) for her birthday. She has no idea I'm coming!

1. When dinner needs to be quick and easy what do you make? chicken soup!!! takes half an hour, cube chicken, season with salt and pepper, cook in alittle olive oil till down, either buy Mirapoix mix from trader joes or cut carrots, white onion, and celery, use olive oil in big soup pot to soften veggies, throw chicken in, throw swansons chicken broth in, and then throw in some orzo, cook till orzo is done and soup is hot. YUMMM!!!

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey? Use your blinker please!!! hahahaha I hate when people cut in front of me with no signal!

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?um not sure

4. Are you named after anyone? haha sort of. My mom was preggers with me during the Luke and Laura rein on General Hospital and really liked the name!

5. Plans for the weekend? to get a mani/pedi and take my doggie to the vet.

1. When dinner needs to be quick and easy what do you make? If it's the 2 of us something we call pasta a la FIs last name. It's pasta, sun dried tomatoes and broccoli with sauteed garlic in olive oil. If it's just me-pancakes or cereal

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received? hmm... i really don't know

4. Are you named after anyone? I was supposed to be named after Jackie O, so Jacqueline is my middle name, but I ended up being named after my aunt christine. They decided on Christina though.

5. Plans for the weekend? gym tonight. Killington tomorow with dinner at the long trail brewery and then our friends b-day party. Any ideas on what to wear to a party with a storybook character theme? Sunday, probably recovering from the party.

To think before speaking- some people forget that others have feelings and can be offended.

Hmmm, not sure.

No, but Courtney was in the boy's section of the name book when my mom was pregnant and people gave her a hard time for naming a girl that.

5. Plans for the weekend?

Tonight we're going to see "It's Complicated". Tomorrow we're working on scanning pictures for our slideshow at the rehearsal dinner. Planning to meet with our church on Sunday.

If we cook, it is pasta. If not, Thai takeout (crazy noodles are my favorite!)

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?
Don't use your cell phone in obnoxious places, like in lines, on the bus, in restaurants, etc, etc. Serious pet peeve of mine, but I guess I have to get over it.

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?
Slapped by a friend who was mad at someone else and took it out on me.

She's definitely not my friend anymore.

4. Are you named after anyone?
First name no, but my middle name is after my dad's younger sister who died very young, at 21 I think, which was shortly before I was born.

5. Plans for the weekend?
Boston Globe Travel Show tonight, friends coming over tomorrow with their adorable kids, registering at the Crate and Barrel event Sunday morning!! Yay! And hopefully making our Save the Dates at some point this weekend.

Turkey burgers...Turkey Tacos...as long as I have ground turkey I can have dinner ready in minutes!

I have to agree with the stopping for pedestrians--I have almost been run over so many times!

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?

I got an award from a Temple on Senior Awards Night in High School...I am not Jewish...actually--that same night I won an award from the Marines--that was probably undeserved too!

4. Are you named after anyone?

I was named after the Harry Chapin song "Corey's Coming"

5. Plans for the weekend?

The Boston Globe Travel Show I hope we can book our honeymoon!

- I agree about the shopping carts - and yielding to pedestrians in cross walks! Drives me bananas!

- No idea, lol

- I don't think so - My middle name is my Mom's middle name though

- Dinner and a movie tonight, tomorrow taking my mom out for her b-day then rock climbing with one of my BMs - Don't know about Sunday yet

Pasta. I always have some of my homemade sauce in the freezer for when I need a quick meal.

Not stoping at stop signs. There is an intersection near work that I've almost got hit at like 7 times due to people not stoping when they are suppose to.

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?

I would say all the help my parents have given me over the years, they are the best parents I could ever ask for. Above and beyond what I deserve.

My middle name is Margaret after my grandmother

5. Plans for the weekend?

Going out to dinner with FI tonight, nail appt and a 30th bday party on Sat and registering at C&B on Sunday

If I'm home alone, soup or pasta with olive oil, garlic, red pepper and parmesan. If both of us, usually pasta and meatballs or mac 'n cheese.

2. What's a rule most people (if not all people) seem never to obey?

In my area, stopping at stop signs. I've almost been in so many accidents from people blowing through stop signs and red lights. It's awful

3. What was the most undeserved thing you've ever received?

My last promotion. It was only because my ex-boss quit and the president was pissed at her.

4. Are you named after anyone?

Nope. But I love my name!

5. Plans for the weekend?

Zumba tonight, then heading up to Mass tomorrow for dinner in the city with a girlfriend and then an open house Sunday at my reception venue. They asked mom and I to come talk to prospective brides about our experience and stuff. Woo!

Too many driving rules to count. I think if drivers had to retake their drivers test right now, more than half would fail.

Being laid off (IMO)

Not much... hopefully spending some quality time with DH.

Ha! I'm sure I've been given credit for things I had nothing to do with.

Yes! My first name comes from a friend of my parents, and my middle name is from one of my great-grandmothers
5. Plans for the weekend?
Have to come in to work for a bit both Sat & Sun--boo! Tomorrow is FI's 31st bday! His nana is throwing a family party. I think we are going to go furniture shopping & do some packing this weekend too. And I want to work on our invites.

Hmm...I once got a raise, only to be laid off 3 months later due to cash flow issues. Does that qualify?

Yes, even though my name was common the year I was born, we all got greek names. Melissa raised the infant Zeus in Crete saving him from his father

Pasta/mac&cheese or these flat bread "pizzas" we make - small flatbread with hummus and cheese toasted in the oven

We bike a lot up and down the coast and theres a bike path along the beach that is only for bikes in most areas but there are always runners/walkers/rollerbladers on the path and it drives me crazy bc they are just in the way

Not really - my mom heard of the name from a coworkers daughter - but my middle name is my moms maiden name

happy hour priced truffle pizza tonight, friend is coming up tomorrow and we'll be going to a wine and cheese party tomorrow night, biking on sunday - and taking care of the puppy and making sure to take her out every three hours this weekend so there goes catching up on sleep

tonight is for lounging, tomorrow FI and i have the day off together so after we give our dog a bath and a hair cut, then its a fun day out shopping and going for dinner, and sunday we have a family get together and then i will be busy with paperwork that needs finishing.
