XP: Videographer - HD worth it?

In need of a little advice, we are starting to look at videographers.  Is an HD video the way to go?  Any advice when considering the options for this area.  I am not up to speed on the quality difference.

    I am all for HD, in my opinion it makes a huge difference in the way the video looks. Years from now when you look back at the video you will appreciate how clear it looks. I didnt have a huge budget for videography since we werent going to use one to begin with but shooting in HD was a requirement for us.

    We're using Sure Shot Videography. We didnt think we would be able to find a videographer to shoot HD within our budget but their packages are super affordable. Also, we got the $1,200 package knocked down to $900 because they had a special going on.

    HD is definitely worth it!  You should look into DSLR video as well.  It's a new technology and it's absolutely stunning.  Check out my two DSLR clips from the amazingly talented John from Wedding Stories:
