Movies

Have you seen any movies recently?  Anything good?

I haven't been to the movies in a LONG time but I'm thinking about going to see The Lion King (3D) because I love that movie!  Has anyone seen that one?  If so, was it worth paying to see in 3D?

Sorry, I'm really no help when it comes to movie theater flicks. I only go to the ones that sound really REALLY good, because I prefer to have subtitles when I watch movies.

My most recent theaters watches were "Harry Potter" and "Green Lantern".

I rarely see movies in theaters so I'm no help! The last thing I saw was Harry Potter. I tend to just wait for them to come out on netflix! I have heard good things about Lion King 3D

It's not in theaters, but X-Men: First Class was really good, I thought.

I haven't been to the movies in over a month. I think the last one I saw in theaters was The Green Lantern, which was amazing. Partially because Ryan Reynolds is smokin', but ya know lol.

My FI went down to Texas to visit his family this weekend and went to see Lion King in 3D. I asked him how it was and he said "the same as before!". I was like "Well, yeah...but what about the 3D? Was it better in 3D?" and he said "Well, it was just the same movie...but in 3D" Lol I'm not sure if he thought it was going to be different or with extra scenes, etc. Or if it was just supposed to be in 3D lol. He sounded kind of disappointed. But I guess maybe he expected something different? lol I don't know.

I don't really like watching things in 3D; I don't really think it's worth it. Although, I have heard that The Lion King is great in 3D.

I am going to see Lion King on Friday! When I saw the preview the first time, I think I cried. Lion King is my favorite Disney movie and I am so excited it came back to theaters! Can't wait!

I saw The Lion King at an IMAX theater one time - that was AWESOME!!!  I think I'll probably look into the 3D but understand that I probably won't like  it as much as the IMAX.  It is one of my all time favorites so just to see it in the theater again will be good.

I also rarely go see movies in the theatre unless I'm hugely anticipating the release such as the Harry Potters... other than that I usually wait to buy it on dvd or to Netflix it. But I also enjoy going to the movies around the holidays and seeing a Christmas movie. I was so bummed there weren't really any out last year.
