Has anyone been to or had a reception at the Champagne Palace? I would like to some reviews... thinking about booking there.

    Is that the place with all of the murals? I think one of my good friends from high school had hers there. It was very nice, and I'm pretty sure they're affordable.

    I personally don't care for the interior decor, but the courtyard is very beautiful.  My sister had her reception there, and she had a few surprises her wedding night.  (However, in fairness to CP, my sister probably did not ask a lot of questions when planning.)  One thing was that they do not allow grandparents upstairs where pictures are taken; all grandparents (no matter how healthy they are) have to remain downstairs and pictures have to be taken downstairs as well.  They also were a little pushy about doing the cake pictures and cake pull immediately after we took pictures; the rationale was "to get it over with" but I think that should have been more of an option for the bride and not pushed on the bride.  Overall, it is a nice place but I believe it's priced comparably to a few other locations.
