Photographer suggestions?

I have started looking for a photographer in Central Florida. Does anyone have any recommendations for great photographers, considering a budget around $1000 (give or take a bit). Even if you had a bad experience with a photographer, that would also be helpful so I do not end up with that company/person.

    Depending on what you want included in your package, you have several options. Keep in mind that many photographers will change their standard packages to take out or substitute things you do or do not want, so you can make it pretty custom.

    I worked with Fat Catz Photography and they're freakin' awesome. There's a review in my married bio (rockin' the rock). We got their $2k package, but they do have one that's less expensive. 

    Other good options are Jessica Leigh and Tab McCausland. There are so many more that I don't know about, but we here those two recommended a lot on here. Have fun finding your photog!

    I met with Rhodes Studios and although I did not end up using them, I think they seemed really great and are recommended by a lot of people.  People also recommend Scoobie's Photographic images a lot too.  I'm not sure if either of them are in your price range, however.

    It really depends on what you want..... I mean if you don't include an album or any prints and you just want four to six hours of photography, you could probably get it within that budget.

    There are other photographers who are in that budget for much more than just six hours but I don't know that much about them and haven't heard people recommend them.

    My package was under $1,000.

    I'm using Jennyfer Huff from Florida Wedding Photography, my package includes two photographers, and engagement pictures for $850. I just got my engagment pics and I loved them!

    We are using Photography by Marlyn and she is awesome! All of her packages cover the whole day- start to finish up to 13 hours which is REALLY nice because most others have time frames that could get tricky to work within. Her albums are also really nice. The package we got was right around 1500 and it included the album and prints. You can find her on Facebook and look at pics she has done of a wedding this past weekend etc.
    I also met with Bill Peck, Tab McCousland, and Jessica Leigh and they all  were nice too.

    I am using Sandra Johnson Photography.  Her prices vary depending on the amount of coverage you want.

    I also met with Jessica Leigh.  She has packages that should fit into your budget.

    I used Misty Miotto for our wedding day and Casie at Rebel Belle Photography for my TTD - nothing but rave reviews for both :) I'm not sure of Casie's wedding package prices but I"m pretty sure Misty has a package in that price range -- it just depends on how long you want your photographer for :)

    Joey Wright is also within your budget. He does amazing work for the price!

    About Misty Miotto, we are trying to book her now, but her packages actually start at $3000.  We have been trying to work something out with her, but we haven't heard back from her in over a week, so I'm not so sure how that will go.  I'll let you know, however, if we find anything less expensive with her, because she is truly amazing.

    Mrs, Whitney, they really have!!!  =(  When my fiance and I started dating he showed me some of her work (he's a wedding photog, so he is always trying to look at what the best are doing).  I loved her and vowed she would be my photog!!  Then she was MUCH less expensive.  Unfortunately the prices soared and we got word today that she is not going to be able to offer us a package in our price range.  =(

    Thanks for the rec, I will definitely look into her!!  We are having trouble finding photogs we love AND staying in our budget.
