Officiant

Hi Ladies!  I am trying to find an officiant for the wedding we are having in September, but I don't know how to find them.  Does anyone know someone or recommend someone to use in the Bangor/Belfast area?  We don't care so much about having a friend get their license to do the ceremony for us, we just want someone that has done it before and can walk us through it.  Any recommendations would be great or any info as to where I could find someone too!  TIA!

Jeff Fitch, he works at Tate-Fitch P.A. in Bangor.  He lives in Castine.

Also, almost all accountants are licensed to wed... so If you know anyone that is one you could always check them out.

My fiance is an accountant at a very large firm in Portland...almost all of his co-workers are not notaries. It's more likely that a secretary in a law firm or a smaller accounting firm is notarized. It's not automatic that an accountant becomes a notary.

We are thinking about using this officant, but he's locateds in Southern Maine (b ut he does travel.)

Most of the accountants I know are but they do work at smaller firms so maybe that is why.  I know it isn't an automatic thing for them to obtain.  But in the Bangor area there are a lot of smaller firms so most of the accountants in our area are notarized.
