Bachelorette Party Anxiety

The girls are reserving the Bachelorette Party Package at Howl at the Moon.  I got online to see what all that included, and one of the things is the bride to be getting called up on stage.  I have no idea what goes on with that.  Has anyone ever seen this done at this place.

I'm not sure why this gives me anxiety as I'm not prone to stage fright, but it does.  I don't want to be a party pooper and say I won't do it, because they are traveling to hang out with me.  Any advice?

Re: Bachelorette Party Anxiety

  • Never seen it but they probably get you up there and sing and dance for you... don't be nervous! It'll be fine! have a couple drinks to ease your anxiety! Besides it will probably only last maybe 5 mins if not shorter!

  • I've seen it done at a piano bar that used to be a Howl at the Moon.  All they did is pull the bachelorette up on stage and sing some silly song.  I wish I could remember exactly what it was but it said something like spelled out Bride and said what each letter stood for (don't be offended but I think b was for b*tch).  She just laughed the whole time.  Everyone cheered afterwards and she got to sit down.  Just have fun with it and it'll be no big deal.
  • Ok, thanks ladies.  I think I'm making this bigger in my head than it needs to be. ;)

  • I agree with PP.  They just get you up to sing.  Occasionally, the bride will dance on the stage if she is in the mood or some of her friends will join her.  The song is normally really crude, so don't be offended :)  Have fun!!

  • I haven't been this is particular piano bar, but I was at a dueling piano one in Philadelphia that I'm sure is about 99% the same. I really wouldn't worry about it! It was all very silly and fun, and everyone was drunk as a skunk anyway. They just called her up, and she danced around while they sang to her. She didn't have to sing or anything.

  • I've seen it at the Howl in Louisville when we were there a few years back. It was no biggie ... piano guys just got her up there, asked her what her name was and when she was getting married, stuff like that Then they sang a song and everyone clapped/cheered.

Just realized that was the night my profile pic was taken. That is at that bar. LOL. Weird.
