Intro!

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! FI and I are recently engaged and looking at an April/May 2012 wedding. We have some ideas about what we would like our day to be like, but right now we're just gathering ideas and enjoying being engaged.

He's 27, I'm 23 and we met over two years ago at a bar with mutual friends.

I've posted on the Pets board of The Nest for about a year now, so I'm not a total stranger to these parts :P I've also lurked around here a little since the 2012 boards aren't busy. Is there a vendor beware list and can you all point me in the direction of the Knottie that maintains it? I'd really appreciate it!

    Welcome, and congrats on your engagement! I love spring weddings (biased of course since mine was in May). I had a long engagement as well- enjoy being engaged before all of the planning begins! There's a recommended vendor list, as well as the beware list- LaFemmeRouse maintains both of them.

    And by recently, I meant yesterday :p. Totally not trying to rush a thing, just trying to enjoy it for a while and gather some ideas.

    Haha, congrats on the *very* recent engagement!  How did he propose?

    Welcome! and congrats on your engagement.  I'm having an October 2010 wedding but I do love spring weddings!! Good luck with all the planning - theknot is VERY helpful!!
