Are yu kidding me?!?

So I log on to my work email because I have to find an email someone sent to me. I see work related emails from co-workers that went out TODAY.

So you offer overtime to the other workers AGAIN and not me?!?

This happened TWICE in the past week.

Are you kidding me?!?

I HAVE A DAUGHTER AND A WEDDING TO PAY FOR...these other peole have NO kids, NO obligations like I do...and you wanna offer it to them...UGH! You have 2 kids under the age of 2...you should KNOW how it is...

OFFER it to me and let me take it if I want to.

This is the last week of overtime...you tell EVERYONE except me...what the h*** is up with that?!?

UGH!!!

I am so pissed!!

Crazy thing is, I have been at home ALL day and would have had no issue going in...

Whatever...I am sick of this nonsense...but it just irritates the mess out of me...I cannot tell you how long this has been going on...

OMG THAT SUCKS!! I would be mad to... Maybe they think you don't want the overtime because you have a kid... I dont know why they would think that but maybe. Or they could just be JERKS!! SORRY!

Maybe they think that you are overwhemed with wedding stuff so you wouldn't want to work.

That's just wrong! Maybe they did think that you were overwhelemed, but they could have at least offered. I would talk to my direct supervisor and inform him/her that if ever they need extra help in the future that you are willing to offer your time. That shows initiative and a commitment to the company.

This is so wrong! THere is no reason they shouldn't at least offer you the overtime. I agree with tamtam talk to your supervisor and explain that if any opportunities for overtime come up in the future that you would be interested.

Only thing is, OT is over as on the end of February...so I feel like talking to him is pointless...

My thing is, if I was working OT for the past month, why wouldnt you offer me the Saturday OT???

My job is the shitz too when it come to ot. For the past year, a lady I worked with would come in on Sundays for ot. For what? She was not doing anything. So I didn't even ask and started bringing myself in on Sundays too. Now no one including her can get ot anymore due to 2010 budget.
