So I got married last weekend and for the most part everything was perfect. I was stressed about people who were telling me they werent coming before the wedding but in the end, I forgot they weren't there!
My bridesmaids and I started getting ready about 10am. We had the hairdresser and makeup artist come to the hotel where we got married at. Very glad I did it that way. Everyone recommended that I go last since I was the bride. Well we started running behind because my cousin the hairdresser is reallllly slow! I am stickler for being on time so I started getting very frustrated. If I could do it again I would have gone ln the middle. Not first but not last either. We ended up being about ten minutes late which in wedding time is really good but I wanted to be on time.
Having the day of coordinator was a blessing as well! She kept everything running at the pace we wanted. It was perfect. There were a few mishaps that I didn't even hear about until the wedding was over which is how I wanted. While I was getting ready the room turned into utter chaos with my bridesmaids trying to iron their dresses etc and we were running late. I was getting soooo mad. My wedding planner pulled me out of the room and took me to a room closer to the ceremony space so that I would be in a serene place. It definitely helped me calm down
Next to the I dos, the highlight was the reception. I danced the whole night! LOL my mom kept saying I could tell a huge load ie wedding planning was off of your shoulders. I think for the most part everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves especially me and my husband!

My favorite centerpiece! I loved it! It was real simple but perfect. There were also lights at the base of it so it was a little brighter in person.

My menus. My sister and I hand embossed 175 of these so I was real proud of them lol. Then people told me oh I didn't even read them. I'd still do them again though.
And here is my dress! I loved it! Wish I could wear it again like to the grocery store or something lol.
