So I don't think iv ever formally introduced myself! Im smashley!I have been lurking and posting here and there, I'm a may 25th bride, planning my wedding from Florida a whole 1500 miles away where we'll return home for our wedding! Feels great to have our venue caterer and photographer booked already! Yay for big checks! My FI and I met when I was 17 and he was 18 in high school, we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary last week :D hi everyone!

    Ik I love how active everyone is over here! I am a Wisconsin bride...:D I'm super excited to go home to do some planning, I was thinking about going home late July...to pick out a dress with my girls, meet with a florist have a tasting with my caterer and get a trail done of makeup...are you guys DIYing yours? I was thinking about it but splurged on our photographer so I want to look fantabulous (is that a word?) for the pics, want to do the airbrush!

    I am also doing airbrush makeup... I figured I am only doing this once and I want to look as gorgeous as I can not only for my photos but for my soon to be hubby too...

    I'm doing my own makeup since I rarely wear it on a daily basis, still wanna look like myself and not look back on my pictures and not have the 'what was i thinking' thought go through my head.

    I was thinking about the airbrush make-up, but am unsure. I hear it's more natural and makes pictures look better so I will have to see what I want to do.

    I wear makeup on most days already so it wouldn't be a huge jump, I wear bare minerals and hear its crappy in pictures! It's sunny over here by me....not for long though, I see it is going to start raining in a few hours, hello humidity! Plus if I do my makeup I know I will obsess over how perfect it will be and end up putting too much on. Recipe for disaster, and I want to be relaxed before I receipt my vows.

    I don't really know much about makeup and am horrible at it, so I will certainly be getting mine professionally done for the big day.

    Is airbrush makeup a newer trend? What are its advantages compared to regular makeup? I was recently browsing around for wedding makeup pricing and was surprised how much it is!

    Hello Smashley. I have noi dea about airbrush. Didnt know it existed till I saw it posted here. I wear make up everyday and have a few girls in the wedding party great doing make up so Ill be relying on them for help.

    Welcome! We're date twins! I'm not sure if I'm doing airbrush or traditional yet, but I already hired a makeup artist for myself and my future MIL. My sis (MOH) will have graduated cosmetology school by then, so she's doing my mom, her own and my BM hair/makeup. =)

    Oooo future mrs g, very lucky! Iv only heard of airbrush here and there until I started creeping things for the wedding...it lasts longer, more coverage, it's not cakey at all and looks absolutely gorgeous in pictures! My cousin graduated from an aveda institute so I'm lucky she offered her talent to me :D I'm going to go in for a trial of the airbrush, if I dislike it I'll ask for traditional for the day of, since ik how that looks already. How pumped is everyone for their wedding day!! Have you guys completed any DIY projects? I don't know where to start! I can't even completely decide on colors. Lol
