honeymoon ideas around home?

i live in hamilton, not too far from cincinnati, ohio. i have been trying to find a place around here to go for our honeymoon for next july, but i can't seem to think of anything! i would have liked to go to gatlinburg or pigeon forge, but my fiance doesn't want to leave the state. so any advice or ideas for a good (and cheap!) honeymoon would be very much appreciated :) thank you

Hocking Hills is really pretty, and has some awesome cabins available to rent.  We've gone up there a couple of times, rented a cabin with a hot tub and patio, and it was a great time!

It's out of state but still nearby - we are going to French Lick Indiana.

I second Hocking Hills!  It is so prettty you wouldn't believe it was in Ohio.  Also, maybe put in bay.  It is fun and neat to visit.
These aren't in ohio but arent too far from the cincinnati area-  Brown County Indiana has lots of shops, horseback riding, cabins, etc.  Also, Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge in Kentucky.

Ditto French Lick!  It's stunning, newly refurbished (originally an old Victorian resort) and offers tons of things to do (horseback riding, a casino, etc.).

French Lick is wonderful. Stay  French Lick Springs Resort for quiet and relaxing fun...they have golfing, horseback riding and there are summer concert series... its an art deco hotel that is just beautiful!

Then go play at the amazing French Lick Resort and Casino that has a 51000 sq ft casino, and great restaurants.

Not too far of a drive, but you will feel like you are!

If you can not leave the state, Hocking Hills is wonderful for quiet couple time. Very romantic!

I have heard nothing but good things about hocking hills! We are actually going to stay there the weekend of our wedding since we cant take time off work yet for a real honeymoon! They have cabins with hot tubs and amazing views!
