  I'm planning on doing one. Anyone that I've run the idea by seems to thinks it's a cool and unique idea (my how little they know lol). There will always be someone who complains about everything. But whatever, it's your wedding and if you want to do one then go for it!

  I agree with your mom.  But, if you like it, go for it .. just don't expect that everyone will participate. I would not.

  So I'm all dressed up to attend your wedding and I'm going to smeak ink all over my thumb?  And risk getting it on my dress?  Not happening.  I'd be taking a pass.  Doesn't matter if there is cleaner nearby.

  They are becoming a huge hit at weddings! I think they are great and the little ink you get on your thumb will not be smeared everywhere, espcially if wet wipes are handy. Yes, not everyone will participate. But those that do creat a wonderful keep sake that you can display in your home as opposed to a book you stow away and never see again.

  I'm doing one and I can't wait.
  
  People act like their thumb is going to be permanently stained.
  
  Another idea If you think you'll have  stuckup ones who won't do it, is stamp all the "leaves" yourself a few days before and just have people sign their names on a leaf.
