D.J Issues...

So, I just sent ANOTHER e-mail to my DJ.  I sent one on July 18th, another on August 9th and I called and left a message on August 15th.  I dont want to be a nag, and I understand this is a busy time of the year but how hard is it to get back to me?!?!  I'm trying to schedule our final meeting with him to go over any details and to give him the packet that we needed to fill out.  We are 24 days out until the wedding and now I'm panicing and pissed!!!!

There office is an hour away from where I live so doing a pop visit isn't that easy and I dont want to drive all the way there and have them be closed.  Idk what else to do, but I'm about to have a major bridezilla moment on them!

    Yikes!  I'd start with a message mentioning you reporting them to the BBB.  Maybe that will scare them a little?  Or try leaving a message/email with a suggested date and time and asking if that would work for them?  Maybe they'd be quicker to respond if it was just a quick calendar check and yes/no.  I'd try either or both of those and see if being more aggressive works.

    I agree, try mentioning that if you don't get a reply you'll have to pursue other avenues to resolve the situation, including but not limited to approaching the BBB about their lack of communication. That hopefully will scare them straight to contact you.

    You're right, you're too close to not be getting any type of contact from them!

    I'm sorry you haven't heard from him yet.  I would be calling from all kind of different numbers.  I would even go as far as to leave a message as if I were a new bride looking for his services, and then wait for him to call back.

    Thanks ladies! I actually called again and left another message telling him in the nicest way possible to get his sh*t together or I would call the BBB. And as you all said, he got back to me!! :)   He e-mailed me and said he was sorry (I call bullsh*t) and we set up a phone conference for tomorrow at 6pm so we could figure out our schedules and make a time to get together. Fingers crossed that he actually calls me tomorrow....

    </div><div>Holy Moly!!!  My fiancee is a DJ, and he does a lot of weddings.  Oddly enough, not all brides are like you and want that final meeting.  He often has to hound them and practically threaten that their day won't be special without this meeting..which is mostly true. I'm glad he finally got his act together and called you back...and, make sure he takes notes at this final meeting, and if you can, give him a timeline...they are SO HELPFUL to the DJ! :)  He is your cruise director, afterall! :)  Good luck girl!!!</div>

    Thanks so much :)  I have everything all planned out in a spread sheet (OCD when it comes to organization lol)  I tried to make everything as easy as possible for all my vendors :)
