SOOO....ive been waiting to give this carterer guy some time to greave after losing his wife in a car accident and he told me he was coming back sometime in Jan.  Here I am just being patient and trying to get my FI into the swing of things with the wedding and now that he is im here tying to call the company to set up an appointment to go view the venue, and I call and the line is disconnected -_- BLANK STARE........WAT THE??? So thank goodness i work for FPL (The Light Company) and i researched the address and got a main number only to find out there is no more caterer and i can still rent the place but id now have to bring a caterer.....(SLAPS FORHEAD) R U SERIOUS???? THIS IS JUST TOOOOOOO MUCH....

Im guessing its either a sign to not use that place and look for another location or try it out and see what happens!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY MY HOPES AND DREAMS ARE CRUSHED RIGHT NOW

    SORRY THAT HAPPENED... but I am happy it happened now before they got any of your money... and you were left without that huge deposit....

    I know that this just means you will have a better place take it's place..

    Just breath and relax and start looking again or maybe go back to a past venue

    Sorry Hun Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. On another note if you like the place is it more cost efficient to bring in a caterer? Or start all over with the venue hunt?

    I'm so sorry this happened to you. Like pp said, be happy it happened now and not at the last minute. More so, be glad you didn't give them any money. Look at it as a blessing in disguise. I'm sure will find something that you will fall I'm love with all over again. Take a moment to get yourself redirected and start your search again. Everything will be just fine

    Misstira boy do I know the feeling except the venue is closing so we had to start the process over. If you hadn't booked already, great. If you had, just think of it like I'm trying to....... That wasn't the place God had in mind.

    Thank you ladies for such encouraging and inspirational words....you ladies are the best!! The funny part is the guy emailed me today saying that he will be out of town but i can reach someone else if i have questions, so i called the other guy and hes like they are still there and theres no problems but the guy is still out of town due to death in the family (so at least that part is right) but im still confused however, he did say i can come to view the venue saturday at 1 so we will see what they say when i get there....and because its a Firefighters Memorial Building my FI has a lot of Firefighters in the family i will have his cousin who is a Captian come with us just to make sure theres no foolishness going on LOL LOL...

    Hey T! Everything will work out. As PP said, glad you found out now. It's always nice to have up to 2 extra vendors/places in mind just incase one falls through on something ya know. We serve an awesome God and this second time around finding a caterer will be the bomb.com!!!

    T, i'm sorry that you (and the caterer, apparently) are going through a really tough time, BUT, there's opportunity here for a, what sha call it *praise break* lol

    hadn't given em the money yet
    plenty of time left until the wedding to find a new place and
    dude has finally made his way to the dark side (also known as wedding planning)

    Thanks ladies...yea you all are right i still have time and no money was exchanged so no loss....thank God!! Im just such an eager beaver that i want this venue phase to come and go and lets be on with everything else...

    LE SIGH....no worries (LIL WAYNE VOICE) im still gonna look high and low until i find the right one for us....
