  Welcome to the board! I haven't been to either property, but if you like either, I would probably go for the Saturday availability. It gives people the option to come just for the weekend and they might not even have to take a day off. Since you have so many people travelling I can imagine some would appreciate a Saturday wedding where they can leave Dalles FRiday night after work. It is reasonably easy to arrange either photography or cake and floral - there are lots of reviews available on vegasgroom.com. The thing to check with photography is how much they will charge you for photo right or whether they are included too. When I looked at EQR I think they had the photographer included but not many pictures, so you would have to budget for that.

  EQR seemed extremely expensive to us, even with everything it included.  Sometimes being able to pick & choose your vendors can actually save you money.  I don't know anything about the Stallion Mountain.  Have you looked at other golf courses?  We were married at the Revere, but also looked at Bear's Best, Canyon Gate, Rio Secco and maybe a couple of others.  Another great place that does have some good all-inclusive options is the Platinum Hotel.

  Seeing photography is really expensive, I'd pick the one that includes that and just get the cake and floral elsewhere

  I didnt like the packages offered at either of them. Although I hear Stallion Mountain is one of the popular ones. We actually booked with Siena Golf club - I know she said  back in october they had 2 spots left for spring 2013 and was booking into 2014 when I talked to her. We booked for May 2014.

  Sorry this is a little delayed, I ended up booking with Wedgewood/Stallion Mountain.  I LOVED their package and the wedding coordinator is awesome.  I actually was in Vegas over the weekend to finalize our details and went by there... They are updating EVERYTHING and it looks amazing.  I would highly recommend Stallion Mountain to anyone!
