B&M Monday

Sooo tired.  Didn't get an opportunity to catch up on sleep this weekend at all, and that really sucks.  I also didn't do any studying because I was exhausted.  It's going to be a long week. Embarassed

Flew back from nc last night and only got 4 hours of sleep. So not good, especially on a Monday!

While I am happy that FI is finally employed, I am sad that the first day off I've had since he lost his job is also his first day back at work.

However, I am getting married in 12 days, so there is really nothing that can bring me down.

Just went to the library to pick up my books for this week's Youth Lit reading... 1000 pages to read, while trying to finish a baby quilt and diaper bag for my boss's wife who is due in 3 weeks... nothing like pressure!

That's just how I feel right now ugh! I have the venue and awesome photographer, but I am really stuck on a dj and a cake. We don't have  a huge budget for either. We were thinking about melodies and memories, well at least I was, but he isn't so sure because at least 75% of the music we went to be salsa and merengue and we also need to have things said in Spanish too, so not too sure she would fit in as much even though I think she is the sweetest lady. Now we are looking for someone else that's around the $700 range so yay.

My cake is mainly just me not being able to make time to go to any tastings and the tastings I've been to that were in our price range I didn't like. They tasted icky.

Oh and I can't decide what chicken to have.

I also keep avoiding relooking our initial guest list to finalize it up. Bleck.

Just feeling like a fail today, especially since a few of my midterm grades were less than excellent.

How far out are you?  It's okay (and perfectly healthy and advised) to take a wedding planning break.  I had a huge lull in the planning because I just didn't want to touch ANYTHING wedding related for a while.  Maybe you could just take a break?  Can you delegate anything to your FI?

I had no fog issues, once I got on the tollway, but getting out of our neighborhood this morning was scary. I was so scared someone would T-bone me as I was pulling out cause I couldn't see 5 ft away.

Our intranet at work is having script issues, so I can't get on there to see if my bonus is posting this week or next. Frustrating!

A little less than 5 months. March 10, 2012. I think the reason why I have a lot to do is beacuse I recently just came off of a "i'm too busy to plan a wedding" break, so now I'm trying to catch up. He's pretty good about giving his opinions, but not so great about researching. To him if it's cheap for the most part he wants it haha. It's alright though, I think I'm just in a  bad mood and realizing what all I need to do.

    I third the fog.

It was a pretty terrible weekend. FI was sick, I was sick and Copper was sick. Then Sunday..The day I thought I was going to get to relax my Mom went into ICU. So now I'm stuck at the hospital for a while. Though I'll probably start heading home about 3-ish because the house is a nightmare, and things are looking up here.

FI and I took our engagements yesterday and his dad came along and it was the most AWKWARD experience ever.... needless to say there were not any kissy pictures (except one at the end) and I'm sad about this. I also completely forgot to get my number 1 photo because I didn't bring a list and was nervous with his dad there!

I am an idiot and when I saw you say Texas, I thought you meant UT and I was confused as to why you cared so much about Longhorns.

The commentators on the OU/Tech game Saturday were going on and on about how great OU was up to the very end of the game, despite them losing to us. I had to mute it.

That's typical ESPN though.  No one takes the Rangers seriously, IMO, because they can only remember the years of mediocrity and last place finishes.  There were teams in the late 90s that possibly could have won an ALCS or a WS but we were always given the Yankees in the first round.  They choose not to remember those teams even though Juan Gonzales had better a better ALDS for those years than the MVP for the ALCS and even WS.
