Okay Ladies. I need your advice!!

I have been racking my brain about what to do for my bridesmaids. I don't want them all to have to buy jewerly for the wedding and plus what them all to wear the same thing. However, I want it to be something they can wear again. I found this really cute tutorial on pinterest for a braided beaded necklace and I am thinking about trying to make these for my bridesmaids. But before I go out and buy the supplies I need some advice...since I can't ask by friends b/c they are all in the wedding. lol I am turing to you guys. Please help. It would be in a different color but what do you think of this...

    I think it's beautiful, but without seeing the dress, it's hard to offer an opinion.

    I could not just paste the picture to the post so follow the link below. The dress will  will be in eggplant. I was thinking about doing gray or silver beads, but open to suggestions!! The colors of my wedding are eggplant, gray and white. Thanks for all the advice I am happy everyone thinks its a great idea!!

    I'm actually going to disagree with the PPs - after seeing the picture of the dress the necklace seems too casual for such an elegant full-length dress.

    The necklace looks like it would go better with a knee-length cotton casual dress.

    I have to agree with PP. The necklace seems a bit too casual for the BM dress. Why don't you try to do something more simple with swarovski beads?
