ha, ha...yeah I told our consultant that I didn't want to look at ANY dress that was more then like $200 over our budget. My dress came in under budget...I was thrilled! :)

This is my dream dress. It's Alfred Angelo. I'm going to try it on this weekend and if the price is right, I'll be buying it!

My BMs will be picking their own dresses. They'll be some shade of blue, I haven't decided yet.

@S0095042: Yeah, I've been trying to follow that rule when I go shopping! This dress retails for about $750, so it's actually $50 under budget.

There's a shop near me that I really want to try (called Tres Chic) that only carries dresses under $800...it means I can try on anything I want in that store and not have to worry about going over my spending limit!

@Leah: Thanks! I'm just trying to find a store that carries a sample to try on! The last one I called (see above) sold their sample about two weeks before I contacted them, so I'm just waiting for them to get another one in...sigh.

what I tried on and loved

I will have 4 or 5 bridesmaids. I want them all to wear different dresses. But I want them all to be short or tea length. whatever their style is. And i'm still deciding if I want them to be in a black dress with a Dark Teal accent sash or accessories or a dark teal dress.

I think you can really tell someone's style by looking at what dress the bride chooses!

@kat: thanks! My consultant picked it out when I went looking with my MOH. Then, I went back to show my dad while doing some "prelim" work for the women of my family. The next day I came back with my grandmother, mother, 2x aunts, MIL,GrandMIL, dad and MOH...after trying other dresses at a fewother stores I took them to see this one...as soon as I put it on we all agreed. Its was a hecktic day, but well worth it

This is my DREAM dress, I tried it on and fell in love without knowing just how much it was, I'm currently trying to find one that's as close as possible but within budget!

As for my BM dresses I'm just asking that they pick something black and tea length but whatever they're comfortable in. My sisters are my MOH and I'll be giving them the choice to be in either silver or purple to stand out from the rest if they like.

As for my dress inspiration.. this was "THE DRESS" but I couldn't find it anywhere...

As for BM's dresses... I'm loving these right now (even though they are pretty much the same) but it's still up in the air... The color would be wine/burgundy.. Do these go with my dress??

I definitely want strapless, and I definitely want a sweetheart neckline. Here are two of my favorites.

Bridesmaid Dress Inspiration:
The dresses are from Bill Levkoff. They are knee-length, pewter with ivory sashes. The girls will wear the neckline of their choice.
