GTA wedding planners

Hello,
I would like to hear some reviews/experiences of the following wedding planners:

1. weddingsheidistyle.com
2. theidoshop.ca
3. blissevents.ca
4. Fairytaleevents.ca
5. distinctoccasions.ca
6. casamentos.ca
7. angeliquesweddings.com

I am looking for a planner that offers a lot of flexability and offers unlimited calls/emails and day of planning.

Or any other great planners that you can refer in the GTA?

Thanks!

    Hi Agnes,

My planner's not listed, but her services include unlimited calls and emails.  Her name is Leena and her company is called Let's Party Consultants.  The website is www.letspartyconsultants.com. 2 of my close friends used her for different services; one for full planning and the other for only day of coordination and they both raved about her.

Even though she came recommended to me, I interviewed 5 other companies and she demonstrated the most experience and as well, the different ways in which she could save us money.  She even turned my skeptical FI around and that's hard to do.  Good luck in your search!

Thanks!  Do you by any chance know the cost of her full planning.   I know its usually 10-15% of the budget, but just wondering if she is on the cheaper or more expensive side?

    Hi Agnes,

She charges a flat fee for all her services - day of coordination, partial planning and full planning.  And even then, it's customizeable depending on your needs for your wedding.   For example, she gave us 3 different packages to choose from based on what me and my FI told her we needed - we were looking for help with getting a ceremony and reception venue and for her to assist with negotiations with these venues as everything else I will be DYI'ing with help from the FI, the bridal party and a couple of crafty friends or some of the services will be provided by friends who are already in the business.

Her fees range from $1000 - $2500 for planning with day of coordination services. When you talk to her, the prices will land inbetween those ranges based on your needs. And even then, those packages can be changed depending on your needs and your budget.  If you want her to create a budget, take care of your RSVPs and guest list, choose and interview your vendors, etc., she can.

Her philosophy is to ensure that her services and fees are condusive to you as no two brides and weddings are alike.  And she's all about customer service, so it really is all up to you and what you need and what you want to delegate to someone else.

If you're looking for strictly day of coordination services, she charges $500 and up depending on the complexity of your day but all her packages enable you to contact her 24/7 by phone or by email.

I definitely encourage you to call and at least talk to her.  You'll see what I mean when you interview her.

    Hi,

My wedding planners are elan cachet. They have been phenomenal, i can call and email them whenever I like.

I was going to meet with anglique but I found her guidelines on meetings a little rigid, and she was super busy and didnt have  much time to meet with me. I decided to go with my planners instead because I wanted to know for sure that if I wanted or needed something I wouldn't be using up a consultation.

After emailing Jewel, I got in touch with Leena at Let's Party Consultants and her response time and detail was AMAZING! She got back to me within 1 hour and it was a personalized email and not just an automated response.

She seems very genuine and I already like her! I plan on setting up a time to meet with her in a couple of weeks!!
