I had my appt at DB today and I have to say I was dreading it! I posted previously about it. I am plus size and was afraid they wouldn't have my size in anything and that nothing would flatter me. The first dress I tried on was amazing! I immediately fell in love with it but I refused to get it without trying the others I had picked out! All of the dresses but one were A-line and on a whim I decided to try on an all lace, champagne and ivory trumpet gown. In no way shape or form did i EVER think it would be the dress. In fact I thought it would look terrible on me. But as soon as I walked out we all knew! It is BEAUTIFUL. Classy, elegant...it looks like it should be worn in a royal wedding. I have a friend of the family who is a seamstress and she is going to make me sleeves for the dress by cutting off the train! In short, I had an amazing experience and could not be happier with my choice! I can't wait til September 22 for FI to see me in it! Anyone that has not gotten their dress yet and is planning on going to Davids Bridal, you should request an appt with Deidra. She was sooo helpful and patient with me and my 7 person entourage! I am so happy!!!
