Just Engaged and Proposals

I just got engaged but we're living in Germany, starting the planning from abroad!

My now fiance just proposed a few days ago and I am beginning to research venues online in the NY, MA, and NH area...most of New England. The hardest part for me is looking at so many beautiful venues, but finding a beautiful one for the right price. And, I am just estimating on my guest list...we need to decide how we want to do the +1....right now we're just over 100 people but I know it'll be more like 150 with the +1's added in. Any advice for a brand new, 23 yr old engaged couple who is living in Germany and beginning our research from abroad!? Thank you!!

  • Congrats on your engagement and welcome to TK!

Be sure to check out the local boards (look to your left and down). of the areas you're thinking about having your wedding in. They should be able to recommend vendors and what not.
