    Decorations have been brought up from the basement!  Only the wreath is on the door and pointsettas on the front porch (although blown over from this morning's winds!).  We'll get the tree this weekend, and have a massive decorating day on Sunday!

    Every year we put our tree up the Sunday after Thanksgiving while watching Elf. This year was no exception! It's up and decorated and just about all of my other holiday decorations are out as well. I just a few little things to do tomorrow night and we'll be ready to start celebrating!

    I live in the burbs of Philly but all my wedding stuff is in MD.  I am from MD and moved up here in September.

    The tree is up and the house is decorated.  We don't do a ton so it's pretty simple and painless to get everything done.  I forgot (oops) to bring the Menorah up from the basement yesterday, so I have to do that tonight...since it is the second night of Hanukkah and everything. 

    OH, we haven't done the lights outside.  This is the first time we're doing this so it'll be an adventure.

    Inside is almost done (however, we renovated this spring so I have to find a new home for everything).  Haven't started outside yet.  And we're getting our tree next weekend, going with all of the future in-laws-should be fun.

    This will be FI and I's third Christmas at our house. I made lit greeneries and lots of decor the first year there and I've used it every year since. We put everything up the weekend after Thanksgiving! That being said, this is the first year we got a tree! Even though we aren't around for the holidays themselves, it's awesome to be in the spirit leading up to them and for a little while afterwards.
