Flowers & Cake Appointment

Well Tuesday we are going to meet the florist to discuss what we want to do with flowers so we can get an estimate.  We are also going to start discussing cakes.  We are looking forward to it.  I have no idea what to do with the flowers...I'm lost when it comes to the flowers.

    I don't much at all about flowers either. But I have two kinds that I like (gerbera daisies and dalias) and FI's favorite are tulips, so that's what I'm going with. Assuming they're all available June 1st, otherwise I'll be totally clueless. 

    Just google bouquets in your color and see if any of the picture speak to you. Then just bring the picture and ask them to use those flowers or something similar.

    I'm totally clueless when it comes to flowers too. Do you have any sort of theme you're working with? That could help you with a starting point for the florist. We're going for a 1920's art deco garden party kind of vibe, so I searched images based on that to get an idea of what I want the flowers to look like. If you don't have a theme you're going for, then like cnf said, do a search based on your colors. You'll find something that will jump out at you, and your florist should be able to work based on that.

    Also, this is totally unrelated, but I just noticed your ticker...congrats on the weight loss!! 61 pounds? That's impressive...you go, girl!!

    I like this one but I would do more white and then that shad of blue for a few of the flowers.  I guess we will see what the florist says tomorrow.
