Indian Tour Companies

Hi!

We finally got my future in-laws trip here all planned, so now we're onto planning our trip to India!  Our plan is to go to Kolkata for about a week for the wedding and reception and then travel around Delhi, Agra and around Rajasthan for another week or so.  We will be traveling with my parents and some friends the whole time and hopefully my in-laws will join us for traveling to North India.  I'm thinking the easiest way to go is to book one of those tours where they take care of the hotels and transportation including getting you to the sights, etc.  Has anyone used one?  Does anyone have any recommendations?  2 I found online are EasyToursofIndia.com and IndusTravels.ca.  Does anyone know about them?  Does anyone have any other advice?  I think our group will be about 8-12 people total.

    They are the group that put together our wedding and they did a very professional job.  I have no idea what their tours cost, but they seem really reliable.  They also did the wedding of a Maharajah's son the day before ours, which involved 1000s of people and international celebrities, so I think they have a reliable quality and consistence.  They cover all the places you want to go.

    When I went to India before on my own I used Journeys:

    The advantage with them was that they do private tours (just your group), so you can plan to see whatever you like.  However, I had a mixed experience using them.  A couple of times the transfer didn't show and stuff like that.  Nothing major, but I can't give them a big thumbs up.

    My parents and brother used Indus when they went in November.  They had a private tour of the Golden Triangle and it went smoothly.
