Kohler Catering vs. Elite Catering

Has anyone used either of these companies? The prices seem comparable so we're just wondering about the quality and taste of each. Unfortunately we may have to make a decision about this without tasting them as we live out of town.

    Hello!!

I don't have any experience with Elite Catering (never even heard of them , actually)...However, I have plenty with Kohler! They catered my wedding reception and I HIGHLY recommend their services. From start to finish, absolutely perfect!! So helpful, so courteous, and (of course) SO DELICIOUS! The food was excellent and we are still receiving comments about it. My husband and I were just joking last week about wanting to go back to our reception as guests so that we could have eaten several plates of food - haha!! Hire them - you will not regret it :)
(Can I recommend the prime rib? SO GOOD)
Here are some pictures from my reception...I was so excited about eating! Hahaa!!

    Hi there,
I also went through Kohler for our wedding reception.  They were fabulous.  We are local, but ran out of time to do a tasting.  We were so happy with the food, service and professionalism of Kohler Catering.  We had so many friends rave about the food and service.  The bartenders remembered drink orders after one visit...the food was fresh, unique and absolutely delicious!  It was all reasonably priced as well.  I would definitely recommend Kohler.  You won't be dissapointed!!

I actually worked for Kohler all through high school and college summers - they are GREAT people who make exceptional food. It's good to know that you're working with honest, hard-working folks and they definitely fit the bill.  :-)

We are using Elite, because they're one of only four caterers allowed at our venue.  We had a consultation before Christmas, and they were wonderful to work with.  Whenever one of my other vedors finds out they're doing our catering, they get ridiculously happy.  As in, "OMG, they did my daughter's wedding!"  Or, "They do such great work!  I would hire them in a heartbeat!"  The vendors don't get so excited when they hear about each other vendors, so I took it as a good sign.

From everything I've heard, they show up on time, have great food, make everything look awesome, and are overall just easy to work with.  They're affordable, too.

I am using Kohler catering for my wedding in October. Not only is their food amazing, but they have free linens you can use (white, ivory, and black i think?), they set up and take down everyhting (including centerpieces), and they are the most helpful vendor I have worked with so far! It's essentially hands off for you when it comes to food and decor. All great things I am looking forward to this fall! Good luck! =]
