Worcester wedding expo.. scam...

I went to the worcester wedding expo a few weeks ago, and won some 3 day vacation. I knew it was a scam because they wanted money up front, but they were saying it was a "free" vacation, the whole thing was just weird..

Anyway, i recieved a bill in the mail today so I had to pay X amount of dollars or they would be "taking further action." Needless to say I was a little P'oed. The piece of paper i walked away with that day said I had to call and activate my "coupon" for my "free" vacation, which i never did... as I didnt want to get invovled in what scam they had going...

Since receiving the bill, I have called the 1800 NUMEROUS times... however I have gotten no answers. Not only that, I have received SEVERAL voice mails demanding they receive their money...

needless to say I will be taking "Further action"

Just wanted to give you ladies a heads up in case someone went and fell into the same thing I did..

    This really sucks :(
    Be careful to all in the future who attend these expos not to give out your personal info too freely. Vendors at these places often feed off these scams.

     People go to bridal expos to seek help from vendors, and as if you don't have enough on your plate with the wedding planning to deal with this troublesome scam.  So sorry you have to deal with this. I hope you sort through this soon.

    thanks ladies.... i know how that I will NOT be giving out my phone number or address anymore..

    they have called me 15 times today!!!! that is a NOT a joke. I called At&T to see if I could block the number, they said they would try and take care of it....we will see because this is getting fing crazy!
