Wedding Date!

I have a wedding date and venue!  I just got back from an exhausting trip back to our hometown and looked at 6 venues, talked to 3 caterers, and 1 photographer. I hated having to choose it without him, but he got to see pictures and we talked a bit about it all. I'm getting married on June 30th in a beautiful Hacienda in the mountains!  Its a little bit of a splurge in my budget, but it is just amazing. I'll just have to work extra hard to make everything else fit the new budget.  I think I can do it.

 I'm so excited, but a bit scared and stressed as well. I want to dance around for joy, but I want to sit in a corner and rock slowly back and forth as well... I assume this is normal?

    Congrats on choosing the venue and date.  Picking the venue was very easy for me and that made us choose our date since the one venue we wanted was only free on our wedding date or four months later.  The later time would have been no good for my curly hair.  HA!!!

    Don't worry I rocked back and forth in the corner!  Then got over it and then got the bill and then went back to the corner. Laughing Have fun planning!

    Yayyyy! Those are the two biggest things, once we have a date and a place, you just pick details and then party!! It'll be fine, we've all been in that corner before! :)

    YAY!!! Congratulations!
    The venue is seriously the hardest part of the planning.. Because you can't do much until you have that piece, and that's the vendor that you have the most requirements for.
    Way to go! It's all downhill from here :)

    So is Upstate NY your hometown, or where you currently live?  And where in Upstate NY?
