not sure what to do.....

So as most of you know the situation with my BIL, my sister just told me she doesnt think she will be able to make it to the wedding because of money issues and her car isnt dependable to drive from AL. to Fl. My niece is the flower girl, not sure how to go about this, but should I just not worry about having a flower girl? If I could afford to fly them down and back I would but Im afraid I can't unless I can see about renting a car for them. What do you think?

    :( This is so sad.

    I wouldn't worry about having a flowergirl -- but I'd look into maybe splitting the cost of a car rental or something?? I hope you figure something out, I'm so sorry!!

    Where in AL is she? I think the rental car idea is good and probably not as much money as a plane ticket. FI and I are in Mobile, AL we are going down there this weekend and we did the math, he has a truck so that's a lot more gas than a regular car but the difference between flying and driving was a big one, so right there you are saving money =) Good Luck!

    the rental car is a good idea.  but if they cant make it dont worry about not having a flower girl.  its really not a big deal.

    I think a rental car is a really good idea. But you you can't, don't worry about a FG, it's not necessary.

    Lacey- dont worry too much about having the fg, but I do agree with you offering to get her a rental car, you can def get an outstanding deal.

    Marnie- I was Mobile, well actually Saraland about two weeks ago for a wedding, very diff from FL. It was during their Mardi Gras weekend.

    I wouldnt worry too much about not having a FG if it comes to that.  I agree that splitting the rental fee for a rental car could work.  I would also look into any amtrac or train that might run between here and there.  I've never been on it but it was a suggestion a relative made to get my FI's cousins here... GL

    Thanks ladies! I figured it wasnt that big of a deal to not have a flower girl. Im fine with that. I will def. check into the rental car option and see what they say and her.

    Kaila- Saraland wow that's really a small town hehe....YES talk about BIG difference, we've been here for about 3 years now and I still haven't get used to it. I go to Miami every 3 months or so, I just can't deal with this lol, plus my family is still in Palm Beach so I go any time I have a chance.

    Lacey- I know where that is, It is north east of me but still doable driving, good luck with your idea =)
