Whoopee Pie Favors

For our wedding favors we are going to make whoopee pies with light blue frosting to go with our wedding color. We bought this container at Plastic Container City http://plasticcontainercity.com/small-4-5-square-cookie-container.htm and now we are looking for something to put inside, so that the whoopee pie does not stick. I was thinking we will need something that is pre-cut to be about 4x4. I am having a hard time finding something, but I was thinking along the lines of wax or parchment paper.

Does anyone have any ideas what would be the best thing for this or know what/where bakeries get things like this? Either in ivory or light blue?

Thanks so much for the help!!!!

Re: Whoopee Pie Favors

  • Wax/parchment paper cand be found at almost any specialty baking store, but some grocery stores have them, too.  If can't find them in blue, you can use contact paper.  It comes in several colors/designes, but you would have to cut it yourself (which isn't too hard because it has the measurement lines on the back.
  • Thank you. I was hoping to find pre cut ones about 4x4, so it would be less work. I guess I will get on cutting them now :) Thanks again!!!
