T and P's please.

Hi knotties,
I was wondering if I could please have T's and P's for my little sister. She is having a hard time in college right now and deling with what our father did to us as kids. She's been drinking quiet a bit, and I just found out that a friend had to stop her fomr hurting her self.  I'm going to hopefully see her after I gradute on Sunday to see how she is doing, but can I please have T's and P's.

    Many prayers, Sweetheart.
Look around campus and see if there is some type of group that may be of help to her.  There usually are.  If not, look up Celebration Recovery and see if there is one near her.  It may help her to know that she is not alone.  It may also help her if you are willing to attend a meeting with her.

Thoughts and prayers! Emotional scars are the hardest to heal. I hope she will be receptive to the idea of counseling.

Thoughts and prayers, both for you and your sister! Just as a note, from somebody who's been through this personally and professionally, be careful when you talk to her. I know you're worried, but if she isn't willing to see it as a problem and open to getting help, you pushing it on her is just going to cause more damage. Praying for wisdom for you in your talk and an open heart from her! Good luck!

Thoughts and prayers for your sister.  I would also agree with having her meet with someone in the counseling center. They are a great resource for students.

Good luck, and best wishes!  This never an easy topic to tackle with someone.  If I may advise, it might be beneficial for you to talk to a therapist about it before you approach her?  They can help you create a plan to be as non-confrontational about it as possible, plus help you understand how she may or may not react.

Lots of hugs and prayers for you both.  Help her get into counseling right now.  When she finds a safe place with others who have gone through the same thing it can be the beginning of healing.
