My FI is currently in the LAPD police academy and I'd love to tie some police tradition into the ceremony &/or reception.  Anyone know of anything?  Thanks!!

    Well, I know you can get married AT the old police academy in Elysian Park, but that's the extent of my knowledge!

    My FI is an officer. I can't really think of any way to tie it into the ceremony. Maybe tie it into your favors somehow (chocolate handcuff favors, used them for my shower) or I saw lapd badges that are cuff links at a jewler in the diamond district down there, maybe as a nice gift for your groom. Also think about a grooms cake. HTH :)

    You could just have all the grooms men be police officers and they could wear there dress uniforms.  It would be a nice touch.
