I will be leaving work in 3 hours, leaving Nashville in 5 1/2 hours, and landing in Dallas in less than 8 hours!! It was quite a feat getting my suitcase under 50 lbs. so I hope I don't get any heavy gifts!

And I still haven't finished my Christmas shopping either.

Awesome Bananna, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Those USPS flat rate boxes might be your best friend if you get heavy gifts! :)

Stephen gave me my Christmas present early yesterday. He gave me a gift card to go get my hair cut since I've been needing one badly since our wedding. I guess the extensions I had in my hair didnt help. :( Now I feel so much better with my hair being short! I will post pics soon! Its in a bob, and looks so darn cute!

We're still not done with our holiday shopping either. boo.

All 7 of us piled into a suburban yesterday at two pm and arrived in Chicago at 7am this morning...I want to sleep!

And there is snow everywhere! It's pretty and annoying at the same time. And my ipod shuffle was apparently buried in it for an hour...

Wow, Marissa, that is quite the drive!

Time is going by sooo slowly. I guess staring at the clock doesn't really help.

This morning I heard on the radio that a Nashville bank was robbed yesterday by a man in a Santa suit. He said he needed money to pay his elves.

In order to warn me for whatever shannaigan my MIL has pulled this time, TJ said she called him and asked him what size underwear I wear. Are you kidding me??

This is the first time I've been able to get on TK all week...not for lack of trying! Grrr.

I keep hoping my boss will walk into my office at any moment and tell us we don't have to come in tomorrow...but I doubt that's going to happen.

    Allison,
    Yikes!!!!

I thought I was done the other day with my shopping but I think I'm going to buy a few more things.

I still have to roll out and cook the gingerbread men, decorate them (and the sugar cookies), and cook the brownies.  I just want to not do it since I did pretty much the same thing all day yesterday.

I just watched a cute little movie called "This is My Life" by the Ephron sisters.

I hate UPS.  Really, I do.  They thought they had the wrong address (they didn't but our office is under construction), so instead of investigating further, they just slapped a label on it and sent my daughter's Christmas present to some random Stephanie Hall in Irving.  No looking at the slip and finding my billing address, no calling Target, no, huh-uh, they just picked a random Stephanie Hall out of the phonebook and shipped it.  And they won't go get it until I call Target who in turn has to call them and request that they go pick it up.

I hope they get lumps of coal in their stocking.

Stephie-- That's lame! I hope you get the package back by tomorrow.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

I went to the doc today for my physical and she told me to go ahead and start taking neonatal pills.  What?!  I have been married for whopping 54 days and we aren't even thinking about trying for another year.  Sheesh.  I really can't see it being necessary to start taking them this early...but whatever.

    Merry Christmas!  Be safe!

I finished packing my suitcase, and then went ahead and packed Chris' as well since he's at work and I'm working from home.  I must say, my packing skills were pretty awesome.  I'm so ready to leave tomorrow night!

Adios ladies!!  It's been real and it'd been fun getting to know everyone during my planning days.  I don't know how much I'll be on the 'net after a few minutes as I am going home in 7 minutes.  I may not be back on here until the 13th or so of January but I'll try to poke my head in when I can between now and then.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe Christmas and New Years!

Shortgirl - Congratulations! I hope everything is wonderful, please come back and let us know how it all went!

Thank goodness for Yahoo Games getting me through my last hour. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!! Laughing

    Congrats Shortgirl!!  Enjoy it!

(maybe should save this for FFF, but oh well)
I saw my dad (for the first time since the wedding) last weekend. I know this will sound selfish, but it still bothers me that he didn't so much as give us a card (let alone a gift) for our wedding.
I plan to avoid him like a plague on Christmas and take my little brothers gift to him while he is at his moms. Last year for Christmas I got a check written out on Christmas day for $25 that I'm sure was only an after thought when he found out I was coming by. My older brother got a $75 Visa goft card and my lil bro got more presents than you can imagine. Oh well.

    HI!

    That's all.

    JK!

I am really not looking forward to being in a car for 2 1/2 hours with david's brother. And early in the morning. This may not end well. THEN have to do it again at the end of the day after spending all day being uncomfortable and awkward at his mom's house. And I will miss my new puppy!! Oh yeah we got a puppy :D

I would be very cranky if I had to make that long of a drive with that many people Marissa. You deserve a few drinks! :p

Shortgirl, I hope everything is wonderful!  Puhleeeese come back and share everything with us.  (I have to admit since you have no bio or pics or anything, I am very intrigued.  You have spiked my curiosity.  :))

*sigh* So I went to Irving on my lunch hour and got my package and a cheeseburger so it's all good.

I just got done running and I feel amazing. I wish the weather was always like this and not cold. I hate the cold.

I'm tired of waiting on good news about something. I just want to know already!
