Traveling Nursing Jobs (Information help)

Ok, since my BF and I are both students we are in debt up to our eyeballs! We have decided that it would help if we waited on buying a house and instead spent the first year of our marriage away so he could do the traveling nurse thing. From what I have been able to see we could wipe out our debt and truly be starting new.

So, my question is: Is anyone familiar with this that could tell me pros or cons?
Also, if you have any information at all about it I would gladly take it! I don't know a whole lot about it...

    Wow! I'm actually a nursing student, too. I considered the travelling nurse thing but since I got engaged I haven't looked much into it. I'm sorry I'm not of much help.

    I'm a nursing student as well but I have not put much thought into traveling positions... I think I will apply to several hospitals as a per diem that way I can pick up hours as wanted/needed, get paid more for it and hopefully be just as busy as a full time employee.
