40 days!!!!

What are your big plans for this week? How are things coming along?

I had my bridal shower yesterday so I need to send out all the thank you notes and put all the stuff away, lol. FI and I have our first dance lesson on Wednesday so that's exciting. Oh and most important my RSVP date is the 15th so I will begin to chase people starting on Friday.

Ahh, time is going so fast!

The big thing we need to do is order the groomsmen tuxes. I'm sure everyone has dealt with at least one bridal party member dragging their butts :P

Other than that, I feel like things are pretty well on track. We need to make a finanal decision on the beer/dessert option at the reception. Also some details for the rehearsal dinner to work out.

Need to mail off another payment to the photographer..... other than that I'm just counting the RSVPs.

Been in a bit of a funk at work. Started a new job mid-June and am just not happy. Was in tears this morning just thinking about going into work. They are paying me well but the work itself is not really something that challenges me. My FI was very sweet and I know he'll support me if I decide I need to find another job. Ugh. I need a day off but with the new job I have no days to spare.

I need to get my thank you notes done from my shower this past Saturday and mailed off too. Our RSVP deadline is Wed, so later this week we'll start trying to figure out all the ones we haven't received (currently 134 people outstanding!).

I'm trying to get all our gifts sorted out, wrapped and boxed away so that its one less thing to think about before the wedding! Lol

Hi All.. i'm a newbie to the knot boars (how did that happen?), but i'm a 9/22 bride. My bach is this weekend and I finally got all the shower thank-you's out, but now i'm starting to super stress over all the little details and making sure all boxes are sorted for set up, etc. Is super stress normal?

My shower was yesterday, too! So, I also have thank you's to write.

Other than that, we still need to figure out linens and decide the details of the alcohol (brands, etc.). I also need to nail down the details on the RD. My bach party is in a few weeks, too! Nothing really to plan there but I'm supposed to help with some ideas on shows to go to, etc. I would also like to make some decisions on at least a few activities that we would like to do on our HM. I also want to do hotel bags if I have time.

Kinsey, it does seem like the little things are much more stressful than the big ones. It's easy to pick which photorapher you like best, but it's hard to figure out the details of centerpieces, gift bags, etc. I think the little things are also a lot more time consuming, so it makes sense that they would be a bit stressful.

We are moving into our new place this week, so that's a big to do. Can't wait to get everything settled in! I'm patiently waiting for the rest of the RSVPs!! Still missing quite a few! I emailed my program info the etsy person, so hopefully those can get started soon!

FI is moving into our new apartment this weekend so we are getting all of his stuff packed up this week and ready to move this weekend. We are painting the new place too so that will be some work. We are still trying to contact people about RSVP's. Lots of people "need to get back to us" and 2 of my bridesmaids still don't have their dresses. It's been a stressful few weeks.

AAaaaaaahhh! (It's coming up so FAST!!!)

Got the DJ's questionaire in the mail today. Finished settling details with the florist and paid her, too. Huzzah, two things totally paid off! The RSVPs are trickling in (and I do mean trickling -- as in, we've gotten just one in the past week). And we have a meeting with the harpist tomorrow to settle the ceremony music.

The biggest problems right now are the things that my FH has to take care of, 'cause he's the type who will literally wait until about Sept. 20 and then go "oh, I was supposed to buy gifts for my groomsmen? Crap, what am I gonna get them??" We have no gifts bought for the two kids or his side of the wedding. We also only have one reading picked out, 'cause I had a total meltdown trying to find a second one, so I delegated it to him.

Oh, and I'm allegedly making candy for the favors, and I still haven't managed to find the time to do a test batch. Erm, yeah.
