Lake Placid area bakers

I am getting married next fall in Lake Placid, instead of having a wedding cake we want to do a dessert buffet.  Does anyone have any recommendations of local bakers who will do this sort of thing?

     I'm not sure what they are all capable of .. you would have to call them, but I have heard great things about a place called CakePlacid. I'm thinking about getting my cake from them.

    I'm getting married in LP next summer and went with cake placid, but you might also want to try the baker that does Temptations (on main st near the goose watch winery) or simply gourmet (they own the crepe place on main street and have a second bakery/deli location on the way into Placid from Saranac.
