Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Were getting married Sept 15th, the Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner wil be on the 13th.

When should we be sending out Invites? and should there be a RSVP by date on that as well?

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

  • I'm getting married on Sept 25th as well.  I am not sending out invites for the rehearsal.  I figure its only the people in the wedding party so you can just tell them.
  • **Oops  Sept 15th
  • I'm with PP. We're only inviting Wp (and SOs), officicant, siblings, and parents. We're just going to tell them by word of mouth. It's an extra expense we just can't afford right now.
  • Since the number of guests is much smaller than the actual wedding we are going to be using evites instead of actual invitations. This way it doesnt cost us anything and those who may not use email (such as grandparents) we will let them know word of mouth. Also, if anything needs to change it is a much easier way of letting everyone know as you can email everyone at the same time rather than call each person individually.

I'm just going to notify by word of mouth. It's only my parents, ILs, and bridal party + SO's. They already know there's going to be a rehearsal the night before so I'll just email them the time/location.

But to answer your question, if you'd like to mail out invites, I'd just send them at the same time as the wedding invitations if you have them ready. For an RSVP? Probably like a week before it is.
