Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa

I visited the resort yesterday and I really would like to have our ceremony there next summer.  I was talking to my fiance about it, and he was concerned about the people who might be hanging out nearby on the dock, at the outdoor cafe, or going in/out on the boats.  He didn't want them in our pictures or video, or have them making noise during the ceremony.  

For anyone who has witnessed a ceremony there on the wedding deck, is this a problem that you've noticed?  We would likely be getting married on a Sunday afternoon, so I am not really sure what to expect.  We would not be having a super long ceremony, so I never really thought it'd be a problem.  Any thoughts on this?

    I just went to one in May. The people definitely were a distraction, shirtless fat guys grilling and a trashy family reunion right next to us.  
    People also purposely walked behind the preacher during the ceremony to see what was going on. 

    I noticed it and laughed, but its not like it left a lasting impression on the event.

    That was one of the reasons why we opted to not get married there - we didn't want the distraction of kids yelling and playing, or boats coming in going during the ceremony.

    Thanks for your replies.  We went ahead and booked it.  I'm just going to laugh/shrug it off if something like that happens, not let it ruin my day!  :)

    I snuck in on a ceremony to see if it was going to be distracting (i'm getting married there this september) and I didn't have one problem. The girls did a great job keeping people away for the most part. I'm so excited and its getting so close!
