I've been at a track meet all morning. Did I miss the rapture? Everyone in my little world is still here. How about you fine ladies? Are all of your loved ones accounted for??

No, you are ok if you are in the US. It was supposed to be a rolling Rapture, arriving at 6pm local time where you are. I stayed up to watch Kiribati hit 6pm (which was midnight last night) and nothing....

Just checked with FI in the UK, though, and seems not to have occurred there....So...??

I have to work at 6 PM today. So, I am torn--rapture before so I don't have to work--or, rapture after so I get paid for those two hours requiring really only five minutes of my time?

I did hear about a volcano in Iceland, but it was small.

Dot - soon after the anger, you'll get a liberating feeling. Last year (winter & spring of 2010), my son decided he was going to have nothing to do with me anymore. He really got his hackles up about a specific incident. Wrote me long rambling emails about how he wished me a nice life but I was obviously not on his side and yada yada yada. I was hurt at first, then I got angry (like who the fvck is he to talk to me, His Mother, like this) and then there was calmness. It was freeing to finally get through a day without expecting some phone call from him asking for money or some sort of emotional help. of course, it was short lived because I did send him and his g/f an invite to the wedding and he called me two days before the wedding to say he was coming and to beg forgiveness. And so it goes all over again........
