need photographer for save-the-dates

Hi Chicago girls!  My photographer is located in Detroit, where I'm getting married next year.  FI and I live in Chicago and we are looking for someone to take a couple pictures for our STD's.  We want to do a photobooth-like strip of photos, so even a studio photographer would work.  Any ideas/recommendations?  Looking for something cheap because we are already paying for engagement photos with our wedding photographer.   Thanks!

    Kathleen Thame.  I did my b-pics with her and worked on some other small shoots; she's awesome and I think would be willing to work with your budget!

    We worked with Kara Schultz (www.karaschultz.com) for our wedding in September and she was *amazing.*  Super easy to work with and our photos turned out great.

    We recently did some fun, casual photos with Jessica Norman, who works as Kara's assistant and she did a great job as well.  (www.fotobellaphoto.com)

    Both are worth looking into!  :)

    Jeffrey and Julia Woods. They are INCREDIBLE. They are based in the Peoria, IL area but travel across the globe for shoots, doing several weddings/engagement sessions in Chicago. Just got my engagement photos back and I've been staring at them nonstop - these two just take amazing photographs and are so nice and easy to work with. We had them make save the dates that turned out adorable, and they showed us a sample of a photo strip one. Very cute!

    We used Ela from Studio Finch for our engagement pictures and they were fantastic!

    Thank you everyone!  I ended up getting in touch with Tricia Anderson, who lives in the city and is able to squeeze us in Saturday morning.  Now to just convince FI that the photobooth idea is a good one...

    <div>YESYESYES... I JUST got my engagement pictures back from her.. we had our engagement session on Sunday and she is wonderful! Her engagement price is $100 and that include a location of your choice within 30 minutes of Frankfort (if it's farther she includes gas but I was going to give her a gas card anyway so it's totally fair, an hour of shooting, OPEN minded but clear direction, friendly demeanor, and all files on a CD. I'm so happy I went with her and I can't wait until she does my wedding in the spring!!</div>
