cupcake stand

Does anyone have any great ideas for a cupcake stand?  My FI's cake is going to be mini cupcakes with a small Snoopy cake on top.  I looked on ebay and etsy but they are really expensive.

    You can look around online for them or you can make 1 yourself.  Unfortunately, most of them run pretty high.  If you purchase a cardboard one, you can decorate it yourself and those usually run at decent prices.

    Yes, they are pretty expensive in the stores. But I do know Michael's has quite a few to choose from. And they often have coupons, so if you go this route, use a coupon to save you some cash.

    Try the cardboard ones- I'm getting one from cupcaketree.com.  I'm going to paint it, and then use ribbon matching my favors and invitations around the edges.  If you wanted to completely cover the carboard, you could use fabric cut to the shape of each tier.  The cupcaketree.com website has instructions on how to do both of these decorating methods.
