i sent my save the dates out in january. Yesterday my fiance got a call from his mother, asking why i didnt  send one to one of her close friends. Im pretty sure I sent them one, I wouldnt just leave them out if they were on the list. That just pisses me off, Im not like that.

    It's sad that she would assume you didn't send it instead of considering that it may have been lost in the mail :( I would feel like poo too.

    I'm sorry she just assumed the worst, that is really unfair of you and she should think higher of you.  I hope FI assured her that you would never be that rude.

    STDs aren't really required so as long as her friend's invitations arrive they/your FMIL shouldn't really be offended.

    Well that was rude of her.

    I'm really scared that our STD's are going to get lost as well.  I put a few in the drop box and re-opened it to find that a few of them had stuck themselves to the box!  I committed a whole lot of criminal offences trying to un-stick them.

    I just made it into the post office before they closed and the famous rude lady was there.  She said with a huge attitude, "that's what the drop box is for and why are they in different directions.  And they're sticking together!"  It took me all I had not to punch her.  She didn't even walk them over to the bin.  She put them on a shelf.  I tell ya, if my guests don't get them, I'm going bring my brawling bride butt right over there and show her a piece of my mind!
