Cheesy?  I thought it looked nice online, but I was talking with someone tonight and they said it was pretty cheesy there.  They also wanted me to have more people if I were to have the wedding on a weekend.  Thursday night, our count of 50 would be ok though.

    When i was looking for venues I looked into the Venus. It is a nice place and in my opinion they serve pretty good food. My only issue and the reason why I did not go with them was because there can be 6 or 7 weddings at the same time.

    From a local's standpoint, the venus was where I had my school proms. The food is good but nothing exceptional. They are affordable but like someone mentioned above, they host multiple weddings.

    I didn't realize there would be more than one going on at a time... I don't think I like that very much.

    I actually cancelled my appointment to go look at it, I don't like the fact that they have so many weddings at once and also a friend told me that she could not picture me being married there.  That was reason enough for me not to waste my time looking at it.
