Bridal Shower disappointments?

anyone ever have a bridesmaid not come to a bridal shower party?  Like didn't even tell you they weren't coming, just didn't show?

    Did they not RSVP? If they didn't RSVP to the host of the shower, she should have tried contacting them. If they said they could come and then didn't show, I would be a little upset, but would talk to them and make sure they were OK. They may have had an emergency come up at the last minute.
