spanx help!

I need to buy my first pair of spanx for my wedding... this is my dress:

I have a tiny bit of a belly, my thighs are more of my problem area.. current spanx useresm what do you all suggest??

I wear the second pair but with the longer legs. They go to my ankles and I just cuff them to below my knee. I don't go anywhere without my Spanks.

I have fat thighs no matter what, so wearing the 1st pair always gives me unwanted bulges and rolls.

I haven't worn spanx yet but I just bought a pair online. I was worried about the first style because I wont be wearing a bra with my dress, so there's nothing for it to hook onto.

I ended up buying these: http://www.spanx.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2990106

But I was also considering the second link you have.

Have you tried your dress on without the spanx? My dress is a similar style, and I didn't bring my spanx to my appointment out of slight embarassment to be honest. I am plus-size, and all I had on was my bustier and I was fine. My thighs are large, but worked well with the style of dress. I have a relatively small waist for my size, so I think that is what set it off!
